What you will get should look something like this: Just highlight all of your data > select the Insert Tab from the Ribbon > Select Scatter from Charts: The first thing we want to do is build a scatter plot. What we are going to attempt to do is to develop a model using Linear Regression that will allow us to predict the salary of an employee given their years of service. This example data set shows us the years of service and salary of 39 employees for an imaginary company.
